Why Do You Ride?TM

"I ride because"...

1. WANT MORE RESULTS: I've been riding for a few years and have progressed my fitness, but looking for more challenges, events, and ways to continue to improve my fitness. This is more than recreation for me. I love this and want more--I'm AVID!

2. GET FASTER: I want to improve my times for my favorite challenges, like centuries, local time trials, hill climbs, and one day events. Maybe even do the 'occasional race' for fun--but I'm not a 'racer'.

3. FRONT OF THE PACK: I love to do local group rides and want to show up each week with improved fitness and 'new tricks' to hang at the front or better. I want to be the guy/girl waiting at the top;)

4. NEW FITNESS LAYERS: I want to boost my climbing strength, improve my stamina for long rides, overcome weaknesses, and expand my technique for more results and performance on the bike. Challenge me!

"Over the next several weeks or months, my avid cycling goals are or are similar to (but not limited to) the following..."

As an Avid Cyclist I want to...

1. Ignite my metabolism to burn more fat, and add more lean (strong) muscle. I wanna get leaner!

2. Increase my core strength, durability, stamina, and recovery so I can ride at my best--everyday!

3. Prepare my fitness for improved performance for an upcoming event, century, race or challenging goal I have set to achieve. I want to do better!

4. Overcome one of my weaknesses (i.e. climbing, time trialing, technique) and improve it through proper focused training for immediate results on the bike.

5. Get into my weekend group rides and hammer it out at the front and feel great at the end!
