1. RIDE OBJECTIVE.
Determine "what is my ojective of today's ride"? (Refer to our Cyclo-SPIN Classe DVD's for dozens of ideas from techniques, drills, accelerations, etc.)
2. GOAL ALIGNMENT.
Ask yourself, "How does today's ride objective align with my goal?" (YES, it's best to have some micro-goal about every 4-6 weeks to keep focused.)
3. PRE-RIDE ACTIVATION.
ALWAYS begin with a dynamic Pre-Ride Warm Up to assure your hips and trunk are ready to work. This one 5 minute workout can improve ride quality 50% or more for all of you stuck at your desk all day! USE IT.
4. BODY SCAN.
Once riding, give yourself a "body scan" every 5-10 minutes and evaluate position, technique, intensity to keep yourself honest. (Refer to our Cyclo-SPIN Classes for body scan techniques)
5. POST-RIDE COOL-DOWN
Follow up every ride with a quick Post-Ride Cool Down to assure more quality for tomorrow's ride. DO NOT SKIP THIS PART!
6. POST-RIDE RECOVERY
Continue to accelerate recovery with ADVANCED RECOVERY TECHNIQUES and proper post-ride nourishment.
