Cyclo-TRAINING On Demand: Video Playback Troubleshooting
STAFF

None of the On-Demand Videos are displaying.
Make sure that your browser has the current version of Adobe Flash. Flash is a free download and is available here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=DXLUJ.

How do I play the videos?
When you get to an On Demand page with a video, simply click the play button in the middle of the video screen. If during playback you wish to pause or resume playback, moving your mouse pointer over the screen will make the player controls visible at the bottom of the screen. Click the pause button at the far left, and then the play button when you're ready to resume.

Playback Pauses or Stutters.
This typically occurs with slower connections. If you press play, then pause any video, you'll notice that the light blue download progress bar continues to advance. If you allow the video to "preload" sufficiently, you should be able to watch the video without these stutters.

How do I watch video in full-screen?
Click the fullscreen button at the bottom right of the video screen. Click it again or press the "esc" key on your keyboard to return to normal mode.

Can I rewind or fast-forward?
Moving your mouse pointer over the screen will make the player controls visible at the bottom of the screen. Press the second button from the left to go back to the beginning of the video. Click and drag the slider on the timeline to jump forward or back in the playback. NOTE: You can only go as far forward in the video as has been pre-loaded.

Can I control volume of the video clips?
You can adjust the volume within the player by clicking the audio symbol as shown below. The volume level controls on your computer as well as for any speakers you are using will also affect how loud the playback will be.
