Cyclo-CLUB 'QUICK TIPS' for Your Journey --Focus on the Short Term Goals--
1. Choose short term goals that focus on your long term objectives.
2. Pick short term goals you can achieve daily, weekly, and monthly.
3. Be specific in your goal selection, so when you get them achieved--you feel motivated!
4. Document your short term goals achieved in your Everyday Cyclist Blog!
Snippets from Other Everyday Cyclist Challengers:
Bike Back to Life: "Willpower creates the conditions for change so RIGHT NOW I'm doing the equivalent of a D-day invasion and making a massive surge to make another change to my environment to enable me to get back to where I was so that I can go forward."
Garcho's Challenge: "...this is for me and not for anyone else. My aim is to put myself to the ultimate test. That is, set my sights on a goal and see it to its successful conclusion. No excuses and no whining. Just winning! Ready or not, here I come."
Ride Blessed: "I am very good at setting goals and following plans. I am NOT good however at a very crucial and critical part of my training- the recovery and resting. This challenge will hopefully help me undo many, many years of skipping recovery, pushing it aside, and totally ignoring rest and make me gain many leaps in my cycling and overall health."
TriGuru: "The bike is my relief. I think that I would be suffering from depression if not for the bike - it is my self-medication, it keeps me sane... The Morning Rituals have been an integral part of my morning routine (especially skin brushing - which feels great on sore muscles!), the Platinum Home Spa Treatment is a favorite way to unwind, destress, and recover (I used it yesterday to pamper my poor quads and was back on the bike for a short, high intensity workout on the bike this morning!), and Yoga helps me to relax. Not to mention the motivation that comes from other CLUB members through consults, stories, and the Forums."
