Avid Everyday Cyclists, Racers, or any cyclist preparing to do a lot of indoor training, intervals, or the Cyclo-SPIN Classes .
Kinetic Road Machine PROS :
Top quality, w/built to last construction and a lifetime warranty.
Excellent set up and easy to store or travel with for event warm-up.
Fluid resistance creates excellent road feel and progressive resistance training.
Excellent for interval training, climbing technique and standing drills (available in Cyclo-SPIN Classes )
Kinetic Power Computer compatible. Add valuable data such as power, cadence, heart rate, and basic computer information at an affordable price.
Kinetic Road Machine CONS :
Slightly more expensive than magnetic trainers like the Minoura.
Louder than some magnetic trainers.
No feedback monitoring system for HR, speed, cadence, power, etc. included, but can be purchased seperately.

Minoura Action Rollers Best Suited for:
Avid Everyday Cyclists, Racers, or any cyclist looking for advanced technique indoor training capacity.
Not advised for beginner cyclists or for those wishing to watch TV.
Minoura Action Rollers PROS :
A very powerful training tool to develop smooth pedaling action.
Well built construction without breaking the bank compared to other brands of rollers.
Excellent road feel (flat)
Advanced coordination and neuromuscular results compared to any conventional indoor trainer.
Minoura Action Rollers CONS :
Requires 100% concentration and no distractions. NONE!
Complicated to get on and off for the new roller training user.
Mimics flat terrain only and has no resistance controls.
Not a great choice for Cyclo-SPIN Classes , but excellent to have for other technique workouts.
Complicated (and dangerous) to do standing drills, climbing, etc.

Quick and easy to hop on and train!
CycleOps 300PT CONS :
It ain't cheap! $2000 or so for this machine. OUCH.
Requires permanent location or space to have available.
Not the ideal choice for Cyclo-SPIN Classes that will be utlizing gear shifting as reference for training mode/intensity.
Travel with this is a problem, obviously.
Although it has power info, you would still need a power meter for your outdoor bike to make the analysis worthwhile.
